Brian Blackburn is the Principal and Founder of 26.2 Executive Coaching. A professional certified executive coach, he draws his coaching expertise from over two decades of real-world senior level management and leadership experience in the fields of business, marketing and communications.
Experience
Brian’s expansive career reflects a desire to make a difference. Having served as both a President and VP of Sales/Advertising of four radio stations, Brian’s acumen in all aspects of business operations is vast and current. Whether he deals with the challenges and opportunities of marketing, revenue growth, expense budgeting, bottom-line profitability, or recruitment, retention, training and coaching, Brian ignites passion.
Brian worked directly and indirectly with hundreds of owners, managers and sales executives in small to medium-sized businesses and professional firms in his capacity of VP of Sales/Advertising. He understands the challenges in balancing vision and growth with the day-to-day realities and complexities of running operations.

- Brian’s academic background also includes a graduate degree from Concordia University in Montreal.
- Brian holds a Certificate of Membership with the International Coach Federation. The ICF is recognized worldwide as the premier association for professional, personal and business coaches.
- Canadian Association of Broadcasters – 25 Year Service Award.

Brian has always been involved in different areas of the community as a volunteer. To name just a few:

- President of a community owned Junior A Hockey Organization
An amateur magician, Brian often incorporates elements of magic in his coaching workshops as a fun way of demonstrating how to transform traditional thinking to generate new solutions.
Brian is an avid runner and has competed in and completed 15 marathons. This athletic endeavor has contributed greatly to Brian’s appreciation in understanding first-hand that with the proper desire, attitude, dedication and coaching, every individual has the capacity to unlock their full potential, whether it’s on the road or in their career and business.
